Marriage

Central Jamia Mosque Ghamkol Sharif is a registered building to hold civil ceremonies.

We are therefore in a position to provide the Islamic Marriage (Nikkah) as well as a civil ceremony on our premises, at the same time.

The process can take upto 4 weeks (it can take longer depending on the registrars work load).

Please contact the Birmingham Register Office 0121 675 1000 - option 4 - in the first instance, to give NOTICE of your intention to get married.

Please note that the Mosque will not perform the Nikah without the civil ceremony.
