Ghamkol Sharif House
Ghamkol Sharif House provides sheltered accommodation for those members of the community suffering from mental illnesses. GSH comprises of 22 self contained flats. The accommodation has been designed to be safe and secure, with 24-hour assistance if required. We are providing accommodation for the local community predominantly from South Asia. The accommodation is available for rent and consists of the following:
- Self contained flats with their own bathrooms and fitted kitchens
- Communal facilities such as laundry room and garden
- Security and safety features
- A scheme manager between 9am and 5pm Monday to Friday
- 24 hour emergency assistance through connection of each flat to the managers office, via intercom system.
What does the Scheme Manager do?
- Help newcomers to settle in and explain how everything works
- Make regular contact with each resident if required
- Assist with emergencies
- Encourage social activities and independent living
- Liaise with residents families and agencies to assist with independent living
