Hadith

Narrated by Muslim, Tirmidhi, Ahmad, Ibn Majah and Bayhaqi

Abu Sa`id Al-Khudri and Abu Huraira (Radi Allahu anhum ajma'een) reported that the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him) said, "When any group of men remember Allah, angels surround them and mercy covers them, tranquility descends upon them, and Allah mentions them to those who are with Him."

The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said, "I am the one closest to Jesus, son of Mary, in this world and the next. The Prophets are like brothers, sons of one father and various mothers. Their mothers are different, but their religion is one. There is no other Prophet between us.

Narrated By Anas : The Holy Prophet (peace be upon him) said, "None of you will have faith till he wishes for his (Muslim) brother what he likes for himself.

Narrated By 'Abdullah bin 'Amr : A man asked the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him) , "What sort of deeds or (what qualities of) Islam are good?" The Holy Prophet (peace be upon him) replied, 'To feed (the poor) and greet those whom you know and those whom you do not know'.

Narrated By Abu Huraira : The Holy Prophet (peace be upon him) said, "Religion is very easy and whoever overburdens himself in his religion will not be able to continue in that way. So you should not be extremists, but try to be near to perfection and receive the good tidings that you will be rewarded; and gain strength by worshipping in the mornings, the nights."

Narrated By Abu Huraira : Allah's Apostle (peace be upon him) said, "If any one of you improve (follows strictly) his Islamic religion then his good deeds will be rewarded ten times to seven hundred times for each good deed and a bad deed will be recorded as it is."

Narrated By Abu Huraira : Allah's Apostle (peace be upon him)  said, "(A believer) who accompanies the funeral procession of a Muslim out of sincere faith and hoping to attain Allah's reward and remains with it till the funeral prayer is offered and the burial ceremonies are over, he will return with a reward of two Qirats. Each Qirat is like the size of the (Mount) Uhud. He who offers the funeral prayer only and returns before the burial, will return with the reward of one Qirat only."

Narated By Salman-Al-Farsi : The Holy Prophet (peace be upon him) said, "Whoever takes a bath on Friday, purifies himself as much as he can, then uses his (hair) oil or perfumes himself with the scent of his house, then proceeds (for the Jumua prayer) and does not separate two persons sitting together (in the mosque), then prays as much as (Allah has) written for him and then remains silent while the Imam is delivering the Khutba, his sins in-between the present and the last Friday would be forgiven."

Narrated By Abu Huraira : Heard Allah's Apostles (peace be upon him) saying, "If the prayer is started do not run for it but just walk for it calmly and pray whatever you get, and complete whatever is missed."

Narrated By Abu Huraira : The Holy Prophet (peace be upon him) said, "When it is a Friday, the angels stand at the gate of the mosque and keep on writing the names of the persons coming to the mosque in succession according to their arrivals. The example of the one who enters the mosque in the earliest hour is that of one offering a camel (in sacrifice). The one coming next is like one offering a cow and then a ram and then a chicken and then an egg respectively. When the Imam comes out (for Jumua prayer) they (i.e. angels) fold their papers and listen to the Khutba."

Narrated By Abu Huraira : Allah's Apostle (peace be upon him) talked about Friday and said, "There is an hour (opportune time) on Friday and if a Muslim gets it while praying and asks something from Allah, then Allah will definitely meet his demand." And he (The Prophet) pointed out the shortness of that time with his hands.

Narrated By Ibn Masud : I heard the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him) saying, "There is no envy except in two: a person whom Allah has given wealth and he spends it in the right way, and a person whom Allah has given wisdom (i.e. religious knowledge) and he gives his decisions accordingly and teaches it to the others."
